Internationally Recognised Qualification
The General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) is an internationally recognised qualification that provides a strong academic foundation for students aged 14 to 16. Respected by universities and employers worldwide, it serves as a key stepping stone toward further education and career opportunities.
At Kings Tirana, GCSEs are awarded by Pearson, a leading UK examination board, and assess students through a combination of coursework and final examinations. Fully integrated into our UK-based curriculum, GCSEs form the core of our two-year programme in Years 10 and 11, ensuring students are well-prepared for A-Levels, local qualifications, or other international pathways. This structured approach gives them the flexibility to pursue their academic and professional aspirations.
GCSEs at Kings Tirana cover a broad range of core subjects, equipping students with essential knowledge and skills across multiple disciplines.
Additionally, students can choose from a selection of alternative subjects that align with their personal interests and future goals.
